Meet Hive Member, Cathy Ng!
Cathy, a newcomer to Canada, works at an ecommerce business at our Duncan Mill location in North York. She’s been a member since November 2022. Her enthusiasm is contagious and we love having her in our coworking community at The Village Hive.
We asked her a few questions to get to know her a little better!
What do you do when you’re not here coworking?
I am a beginner in video editing and working hard to produce my vlog. I started a YouTube channel to record my life in Canada (hopefully some Hong Kong vloggers are reading this!). Check it out on https://youtu.be/EvKJhVRvSK0 and don’t forget to like and subscribe.
What is your favourite thing about The Village Hive Duncan Mill?
People! The Hive is a warm and diverse community. You can always meet amazing people from different backgrounds and professions. P.S. Especially our community manager, Monica, who takes good care of everyone. Thanks Monica

It has been a year of change for me. Quitting my job, moving to Canada, starting my YouTube channel. I would like to share a quote that motivates me a lot recently.
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Trust the process and don’t be afraid of being a beginner or making a mistake. We don’t always get a full picture of everything but once we get started, things will improve bit by bit. That’s also the meaning of the name of my channel, “I got no plan”. So just go for it!
